Duties and Responsibilities: Trauma Nursing involves responding quickly to a wide variety of single-and multisystem trauma involving different patient needs, ages, cultures, and severity of presenting symptoms. The trauma nurse must respond with decisiveness and clarity to unexpected events by assessing, intervening, and stabilizing patients about whom there is minimal information.  
Salary: $60,000-$70,000
Education: To become a trauma nurse you must obtain a diploma associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree. You must also receive a certificate by the Board of Certification in Emergency Nursing.

Duties and Responsibilities: A medical specialty dealing with disorders of the heart is it human or animal. The field includes medical diagnosis and treatment of congenital heart defects, coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular heart disease and electrophysiology. Physicians who specialize in this field of medicine are called cardiologists.
Salary: $512,000
Education: as with other medical doctors, prospective cardiologists begin their education path by completing at least three years of coursework in undergraduate school with a focus on the basic sciences. They then go on to complete four years of medical school. During medical school, students typically spend the first two years taking courses in basic medicine and physiology.

This can include researching, designing, and developing medical products, such as joint replacement or robotic surgical instruments, designing or modifying equipment for clients with special needs in a rehabilitation setting, or managing the use of clinical equipment in hospital and the community.

Education: The Bachelor of science in Biomedical Engineer Degree extends many of the concepts covered in the Biomedical Technology program to include more breadth in the rapidly advancing Biomedical Engineer field. Students can continue their studies form the Biomedical Technology Diploma program to study more in depths topics in the biomedical field

Duties and Responsibilities: An emergency medical dispatcher is a professional tele communicator, tasked with the gathering of information related to medical emergencies.
Salary: $36,300 per year -$17.45 per hour
Education: Some states require ambulance dispatchers to be certified and could provide credentials through the state Department of Health or the Department of Transportation. Additionally, the Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials International (APCO) and National Academies of Emergency Dispatch (NAEMD) are both nonprofit organization that offer certification programs for the emergency medical dispatching industry.

Anesthesiologist

Duties and Responsibilities: In general, an anesthesiologist is a medical doctor who cares for a patient before, during and immediately following a surgical or medical procedure by administering appropriate anesthesia and monitoring the patient for reactions and compilcations, and to ensure comfort and manage pain.

Education: Even before entering college, those interested in a career in anesthesiology need to think about the kinds of classes taken in high school. Classes with a math and science concentration certainly go a long way in preparation a future anesthesiologist for success in college and medical school.
