Reflection:This statement means that character is higher than intellect. This means that your actions and behavior are more important than all of your knowledge and wisdom. For example, it is better to be the nicest person than the smartest person. 

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: A health science librarian provides access to medical information through books, pamphlets, journals, tapes, multimedia presentations, and the internet. Health science librarians help health providers, patients, and students sort through the vast amount of information available.

Salary:$58,000

Education:Students must graduate from high school, taking classes such as English, math, typing, and science. A four-year bachelor's degree is then required, including courses such as science and computer science. A master's degree in library science (MLS) is mandatory. Courses include scientific literature, biomedical communication, bibliographic resource use, library organization and management, and standard cataloging systems. While health science librarians are not required to be certified, the Medical Library Association does offer certification examinations which would help a librarian advance to a higher position.

High School Teacher

Duties and Responsibilities:High school teachers work for schools that enroll students from grades 9-12. They typically instruct students on a single subject, such as English, math, science, history, language or art. To do so, they must plan curricula, which may cover basic topics in algebra to advanced information on psychology.

Salary: $55,360 per year

Education: Aspiring public high school teachers must obtain a bachelor's degree; although private high school teachers are not always required to have a 4-year degree, the U.S. Bureau of Labor statistics (BLS) notes that private high schools may still favor applicants who have a bachelor's degree.

Reflection: I would not like to be one because i get annoyed really fast when they don't understand the work.

Well, right now I'm really stressed out because I have a lot of bad grades and also because I haven't gone to football practice in over a week and I don't know what's going to happen. I have been trying to pick up my grades but I get really lazy and I've stopped doing my homework for some classes. I know i can get good grades and  I will. I need to stop playing around and focus on my school work. I mostly get distracted by my phone and I try not to use it but then i get bored of doing homework and i start using my phone.

1. It is believed that he was born in Roman Britain in the fourth century, into a wealthy Romano-British family. His father was a deacon and his grandfather was a priest in the Christian church. According to the Declaration, at the age of sixteen, he was kidnapped by Irish raiders and taken as a slave to Gaelic Ireland. It says that he spent six years there working as a shepherd and that during this time he "found God". The Declaration says that God told Patrick to flee to the coast, where a ship would be waiting to take him home. After making his way home, Patrick went on to become a priest.

Summary

The video was about a middle school football team in Michigan who made a play so a boy named Keith could score a touchdown. The team had been planning the play and nobody knew about it but them. Their idea was to get as close to the field goal but not make a touchdown. Then they gave the ball to Keith and let him score a touchdown. This story is nice because it shows how the team wanted Keith to feel special and proud of himself.

Duties and Responsibilities: Light therapy or phototherapy (classically referred to as heliotherapy) consists of exposure to daylight or to specific wavelengths of light using polychromatic polarized light, lasers, light-emitting diodes, fluorescent lamps, dichroic lamps or very bright, full-spectrum light. The light is administered for a prescribed amount of time and, in some cases, at a specific time of day. One common use of the term is associated with the treatment of skin disorders, chiefly psoriasis, acne vulgaris, eczema and neonatal jaundice.

Summary

Mitch Mckee was freshman at a school in Minnesota. He was a wrestler and he wanted to win a tournament for his dad. Mitch's dad had cancer and mitch was afraid that he wasn't going to be with him the following year. So Mitch joined the tournament and he wrestled against sophomores, juniors and seniors. He won the tournament and the last opponent told his dad to stay strong. I think this was a good story because it shows how much love he had for his father and that he was only doing the tournament to impress his father. He wanted his dad to be proud of him because he knew that one day his dad was going to die.

Health Educator

Duties and Responsibilities:  teach people about behaviors that promote wellness. They develop and implement strategies to improve the health of individuals and communities. Community health workers collect data and discuss health concerns with members of specific populations or communities.

Salary: $41,830

Education: Health educators need a bachelor’s degree. Many employers require the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) credential. Requirements for community health workers vary, although they typically have at least a high school diploma and must complete a brief period of on-the-job training. Some states have certification programs for 

community health workers.
